KidneyRef provides food reference values and diary tools for kidney diet tracking. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions.
KidneyRef stores nutrition logs, notes, saved foods, custom foods, daily limits, weight entries, and fluid entries on the device. This data is not sent to KidneyRef servers.
If you export a CSV or a backup file, the data is shared through the app or service you choose. After export, that service's privacy practices apply.
When a scanned barcode is not found in the bundled database, KidneyRef may send the barcode to Open Food Facts to look up product data. Diary entries, notes, weight entries, fluid entries, and daily limits are not sent with that lookup.

KidneyRef uses the camera for barcode scanning. The app does not save photos.
KidneyRef uses RevenueCat to process the one-time in-app purchase and manage entitlement access. RevenueCat may receive technical data, purchase identifiers, product and transaction data, entitlement status, country or store region when applicable, and app instance identifiers needed for purchase state.
